The “Dandelion” has grown in Pulkovo.
On the morning of June 9, the “Symbol of Peace, Dandelion” was installed at the Pulkovo airport. The image of this flower, according to the International Academy of Kindness, calls to “sow good on earth.” The monument will be installed at international airports around the world. These places were not chosen by chance. At airports, millions of people of different nationalities cross daily.
The cap of the “Dandelion” consists not of seeds, but hundreds of hands. They symbolize our planet. Widely open eyes in the palms speak of the purity of man’s intentions.
“This monument says that we are all children of one planet, and only together with kindness in our heart will we be able to preserve our fragile peace,” said St. Petersburg Governor Georgy Poltavchenko, who attended the opening ceremony.
The author of the monument is the world-famous sculptor and the president of the International Academy of Kindness Gregory Pototsky. He has already installed similar sculptures in Mexico, Greece and Malaysia and many other countries.
